Recently, our work took us to one of the iconic cities of Ohrid in North Macedonia, where a critical question arose at a development site: where exactly does the large-diameter water pipeline supplying the city run? The available data did not provide a clear answer for the client, while construction could not be delayed, fast and precise execution was essential.
We don’t know about you, but recently we were quite surprised to realize how quickly the first quarter of 2026 has passed. At the same time, we also noticed that we haven’t shared any posts yet this year.
Recently, we were involved in a construction project where it became necessary to determine the exact location of a water pipeline running through the work area. Initially, the Contractor attempted to locate the pipeline by mechanical excavation based on data available in the utility registry. Unfortunately, inaccuracies in the records led to more than 60 meters of unnecessary trial trenches.
