Hydrogeological Survey in Pest County

Hydrogeological Survey in Pest County

Our geophysics team recently conducted ERT (Electrical Resistivity Tomography) measurements over an approximately 100-hectare area using our new Syscal Terra instrument (manufactured by IRIS Instruments), reaching depths of up to 180 meters. The purpose of the geophysical investigation was to map the aquifer layers of the area to ensure a reliable water supply.

Advantages of the ERT method applied in this project:
- Reduces the risk of dry boreholes
- Provides high-resolution 2D datasets over several kilometers
- Helps determine optimal well locations and maximize yield
- Offers a more comprehensive understanding of subsurface layers than point-based boreholes

Following the construction and permitting of the well, we hope that our work will contribute not only professionally but also sustainably to providing our client with a reliable water supply.
